HOUSTON (KTRK) -- The Houston Texans brought smiles and created lasting memories with patients at Houston Methodist Hospital during the team's outreach for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Jaelen Strong, Lamar Miller, Greg Mancz and cancer survivor David Quessenberry met with breast cancer patients at the hospital. The players gave hugs and offered words of encouragement to the patients.

"Just made my day," Rebecca Wood said. "It just makes it more special to get through the treatment, and just now, I have a bundle of energy."

"I just try to tell them that I kinda know what they're going through and you know keep fighting," Quessenberry said. "And there's a lot of good days after this."

The Texans will hold their Pink Ribbon Game Sunday night at NRG Stadium against the Indianapolis Colts.
