Texans hopeful camps out training center for a chance
A Houston Texans hopeful has camped out on the streets by Texans training camp to attract the attention of talent scouts.

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A Houston Texans hopeful wants to use his heart to get a spot on the team.

Sean Mock, a former Forest Brook and Lamar University linebacker, has been camped out on the streets surrounding the team's training facility with a sign pleading for a chance to prove himself.

Joined at times by his daughter, Mock carries a sign that says he'll sack quarterbacks for food and water.

"All I'm asking for is an opportunity," he told abc13. "Let me go out there and prove myself to you guys, that I'm worthy to be out there on the field."

Mock had a tryout with the team several years ago, but he says they missed something important.

"Y'all seen me before, y'all measured everything about me but my heart."
