Texans CB Kevin Johnson out 4-6 weeks with injury
Johnson got hurt in the second half Thursday night against the Cincinnati Bengals.

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Houston Texans cornerback Kevin Johnson suffered a sprained MCL and is expected to be out four to six weeks, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Johnson got hurt in the second half Thursday night against the Cincinnati Bengals. He had four tackles before his injury.

The Texans have relied on their former first round pick this season after A.J. Bouye, the team's top cornerback, signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars in March.

Johnson only played in six games last season before he broke his foot and was out for the rest of the season. Johnson underwent foot surgery each of his first two NFL seasons for a Jones fracture.

The Texans also lost veteran cornerback Johnathan Joseph in the second quarter with a shoulder injury.
