VIDEO: Showcase Houston a "once in a lifetime" game

Showcase Houston is a "once in a lifetime" event, according to organizer Chris Smith.

"This is going to be real explosive. The matchups on both sides are something to see," organizer Chris Smith told ABC13. "You never get to see these guys compete against each other during the regular season, so this is a once in a lifetime thing."

While Texas may be known for producing some awesome gridiron talent, the Bayou City is also a breeding ground for some of the best basketball talent in the nation. Since the year 2000, at least 30 NBA and numerous All-American players have come out of Houston.
