HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Texans Quarterback Ryan Mallett will undergo an MRI Monday for a right pectoral injury. He could miss some playing time.

Mallett very erratic against the Bengals, completing just 21 of 45 passes for 189 yards with one interception.

After the game, Mallett didn't say he was injured, but did talk about his performance.

"I didn't play well today," Mallett said. "I couldn't hit the broad side of a barn from five years away."

If Mallett can't go against the Titans next Sunday, Ryan Fitzpatrick will return as the Texans starting quarterback.
