Gold medal-winning Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte made one Penn State area bartender's night with a several hundred dollar tip. Lochte had been visiting numerous bars and restaurants with friends near the Penn State campus this past weekend. As the party visited the Inferno Brick Oven and Bar, Lochte and crew racked up a tab of $425.40.

But as bar manager and Penn State graduate student Kristen Arcangelo was figuring the tab by the end of the night, she was shocked to see Lochte had left a $400 tip on his check, nearly 100 percent of the total bill.

Sunday, Lochte tweeted out his appreciation for the good times him and friends had that weekend at Penn State.

Good to know the gold medalist can swim up a good tip for well-deserving staff. Lochte is an 11-time gold medalist swimmer who competed in the 2004, 2008 and 2012 Olympic games.
