New England extended its undefeated streak to six games, while Real Salt Lake lost its second straight.

Chris Tierney opened the scoring in the 39th minute. He faked a left-footed shot from the corner of the box, took one dribble and curled in a ball with his right foot.

Juan Agudelo made it 2-0 in the 43rd. Charlie Davies' shot bounced off goalkeeper Jeff Attinella's hands and Agudelo tapped in an easy finish at the far post.

In the second half, Caldwell sent a ball in front of goal in the 50th minute and Davies headed it in the back of the net.

Caldwell scored a rebound goal in the 84th after Attinella blocked two close-range shots.

Kamara, Finlay and Meram each scored in the first half to help the Crew build a 3-0 lead. Finlay added an insurance goal on a breakaway in the 73rd minute.

In his 200th career MLS game, Kamara opened the scoring in the 21st minute when he settled Finlay's cross with a chest trap and blasted a left-footed shot into the net. It was his fifth goal of the season, tying him with Octavio Rivero for the league lead.

Finlay finished Waylon Francis' cross with one touch in the 32nd minute and Meram drove 40 yards by himself to score in the 44th.

Houston took a 3-1 lead in the 46th minute before Sporting KC scored three goals in the final 21 minutes.

Krisztian Nemeth gave Sporting KC the lead in the second minute. He gathered a Houston turnover near midfield, dribbled in space to the top of the 18-yard box and struck a ball inside the far post. Houston's Giles Barnes tied it 9 minutes later on a half-volley after Sporting's failed clearance.

Will Bruin's glancing header on a Brad Davis corner kick gave Houston a 2-1 lead just before halftime and Barnes scored from distance in the first minute after the intermission for a two-goal advantage.

Barnes sent an errant back pass toward his goalkeeper in the 74th minute that Dominic Dwyer intercepted and netted to pull Sporting KC within 3-2. Houston's Jermaine Taylor was given a red card in the 79th minute for a questionable handball in the penalty area and Feilhaber's penalty kick evened it at three.

Raul Rodriguez put Houston back in front 3 minutes later after heading in Davis' free kick, but Feilhaber scored his second goal after a headed assist by Graham Zusi.
