New Caney falls to CE KIng

NEW CANEY, TX -- The two things that haunt coaches' dreams led to a quick start for C.E. King as it rolled past New Caney 49-20 on Friday at J.H. Crenshaw Memorial Stadium.

The a pair of fumbles on New Caney's first two possessions - one a muffed punt - set C.E. King up with good field position early as the Panthers were able to capitalize with touchdowns to go up 14-0.

Both of the early first quarter touchdowns came from the arm of C.E. King quarterback Jonathan Brantley who connected with Ben Quintero and Reggie McCullough respectively for 11-yard and 41-yard touchdowns respectively.
