Carly Rae Jepson is excellent at putting out a summer hit we still can't get out of our heads. John Wall can drive to the basket and score and even inspire a memorable dance fad. But when it comes to throwing out a first pitch, they're not quite so successful. Watch these stars demonstrate some of the most entertaining ways to fail a first pitch opportunity.

Monique Evans, The "Strike a Pose" bad pitch

The most recent (and most graceful) addition to the list, Miss Texas 2014 shows us how to throw out the kind of first pitch that makes you feel bad for her. But major style points for using those ballet skills.

John Wall, The "Threw It On The Ground" bad first pitch

This Washington Wizards point guard is lucky that he already had a dance move named after him. Mimicking this aggressive bounce would be way less cool.

50 Cent, The "Give the Catcher Some Exercise" bad first pitch

When 50 Cent went viral last May, it wasn't for a hit single (pun intended), but for this cringe-worthy first pitch that the poor guy probably won't ever be able to live down:

Carly Rae Jepsen, The "Don't Be Ashamed to Try Underhanded" bad first pitch

The "Call Me Maybe" singer may have been known for having the "song of the summer" two years ago, but she made the news last year for having the bad pitch of the summer.

Gary Dell'Abate, aka Baba Booey, The "Where Did the Ball Go?" bad first pitch

Wondering about the quintessential bad first pitch the announcer mentioned during Carly Rae Jepsen's flop? This producer's pitch was so off-base it hit an umpire. An even bigger indicator of how bad it was: It made his Wikipedia page. He was recently interviewed about the ordeal from five years ago, and it seems the "belt-holder for the worst ever first pitch" is a good sport about it.
