Football teams prepare for scrimmages

Once the full football equipment came on, the seriousness took off.

Friday meant the start to contact drills for football programs across the state as the full football equipment could be used in practices. Teams promptly jumped at the opportunity, holding intrasquad scrimmages Friday and Saturday.

With one week of fall practices now done, Week 2 will see the ramping up of the competitive spirits. The five Pasadena ISD programs have scrimmages with other teams this week. For teams that didn't hold spring practices like Pearland and Pearland Dawson, they've already scrimmaged an opponent. Pearland traveled to Corpus Christi for a Friday night scrimmage.
