First Colony Little League's Challenger team headed to game in Williamsport

SUGAR LAND, TX (KTRK) -- The Pearland Little League team isn't the only local team headed to Williamsport, Pennsylvania. A team from Sugar Land is also set to make the trip.

The First Colony Little League's Challenger Team is going there for the 2015 Little League World Series Challenger Division annual exhibition game. They beat out about 900 other teams to get the spot.

The team leaves in a week from tomorrow for Williamsport. The Sugar Land Skeeters will hold a celebration send-off for the team before they leave. The big game is next Saturday.
