AUSTIN, TX -- Crosby dominated Cedar Park for the first nine minutes and 49 seconds on Friday night in the first quarter of their 5A Division II State Semifinal game at Darrell K. Royal Memorial Stadium.
The Cougars (13-2) jumped out to a 14-0 lead before the Timberwolves made some adjustments and quickly swung the momentum back in their favor.
In the span of 5:17, the Timberwolves (12-3) scored 21 unanswered points on 80-yard and 39-yard runs before Crosby quarterback Tristen Cotton fumbled the ball and Hunter Valk returned it 32 yards, capping off the quick swing.
