UH Coach Tom Herman talks potential move to Big 12

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Earlier this week UH Athletic Director Hunter Yurachek confirmed that university officials had hosted a member of the Big 12 composition committee in late November.

West Virginia University president Gordon Gee got a close look at the campus and facilities at UH. He also reviewed TV ratings for the Cougars football games.

It's no secret that many in the UH community crave a move to a new look Big 12 Conference. But is that the best move long term? Cougars coach Tom Herman told us today

that realignment is "above his pay grade." But Herman also reminded everyone UH is in a great position right now in the American Athletic Conference.
