Astros ALDS playoffs tickets sold out in record time

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- The hottest tickets in town are officially sold out!

Tickets for the Houston Astros American League Division Series went on sale at noon Monday, and were sold out in record timing.

"Overall, the sale of our 2017 ALDS tickets was successful. We experienced the fastest sellout for games in our organization's history," the Astros organization said in a statement.

Some fans took to social media to express frustrations that they weren't able to get tickets.

"A select group of fans on our presale experienced issues with their passwords, and we resolved those as quickly as possible. We apologize for any inconveniences fans may have experienced," the Astros said.

If you didn't get your hands on any, tickets to this year's playoff games can also be guaranteed by purchasing 2018 season tickets.
