Astros fans ready to #EarnHistory in the Big Apple
Astros fans are making their way to New York ahead of Monday's game.

NEW YORK (KTRK) -- Fans are starting to arrive in New York City to cheer on their Houston Astros in Game 3 of the American League Championship Series.

Wearing their Astros hats, Chase and Park Burroughs, ages 10 and 12 respectively, touched down from Houston Sunday afternoon with their sister, Carroll, and mother, Connally. They joined a few others showing their spirit at the airport.

Connally gave her three children a pass from school to experience the city for the first time and be there for Astros history. Sunday, they visited Times Square and ate at Ellen's Stardust Diner before watching the world-famous musical CATS. Come Monday, there will be more sightseeing before heading to Yankee Stadium in the Bronx for Game 3 of the series.

"Who wouldn't want to come to root for the Astros in Yankee Stadium? It's going to be awesome and something memorable for everybody," said Connally.

"I like baseball and I've always wanted to go to New York so I'm excited," said Carroll, 14, a student at Memorial High School.

The family will travel back on Tuesday and return "to real life," added Connally.
