Graduation in the air! 4 Sam Houston State players receive diplomas on plane

It's the final step in a long, and quite often, treacherous journey. But could you imagine receiving your diploma nearly 37,000 feet up in the air?

For four Sam Houston State football players that became a reality.

With a playoff game Friday night, the players were not able to make it to graduation. To make up for it, commencement was held on the team plane.

The Bearkats play James Madison in the FCS Playoffs Quarterfinals in Virginia. They will face the biggest test of the season as they look to advance in the playoffs.

But for those seniors on board, they've already passed one of the biggest exams of their life: earning a degree.
