A waitress in Arizona got a pretty hefty tip -- and it was all because of her kindness.

She went out her way to make a child with autism feel special while sitting at her table.

When the Friedman family sat at 24-year-old Katrina Vasquez's table, she noticed their son Dustin liked Pokemon.

Vasquez also draws artwork on hats for children in her spare time so she made one decked out in Pokemon for Dustin.

Vasquez said, "I made it in March, and they didn't come in for a few months, and I was getting a little worried."

Dustin and his family loved it so much they decided to give Vasquez a gift of her own.

They gave her $500.

Vasquez is a breast cancer survivor who's trying to save up money to go to college.
