HOUSTON -- Dr. Stephen Klineberg of Rice University's Kinder Institute for Urban Research continues his discussion on the growing Hispanic presence in Houston.

Dr. Klineberg states that with more than 1.7 million Hispanics, Harris County is second only to Los Angeles County in having the largest population of Latinos in the U.S. The median Hispanic population here is 27, compared to a median age of 42 for the Anglo population.

Also, Hispanic immigrants tend to do better economically, the longer they live in America.
