HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Jane Cummins, President of the Texas Lyceum, discusses the impact the expansion of the Panama Canal will have on the Houston economy.

The Texas Lyceum is a non-partisan leadership organization. It was the last group to tour the canal before crews began flooding it. The new and improved Panama Canal will open in 2016.
