These businesses are offering servicemen and women with special offers to celebrate Veterans Day.

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- These businesses are offering servicemen and women with special offers to celebrate Veterans Day.

Many of these deals for military members are also offered year-round. You can find them in a new free app called Discount Soldier.

24 Hour Fitness

Any veteran and active miliary can use any 24 Hour Fitness facility for free through Tuesday.

Applebee's

Applebee's is honoring veterans with a free meal on them. Vets and active duty military can come in all day on Tuesday and receive any entre from a special Veterans Day menu. Just show proof of military service to your server.

Arby's

Veterans can get a free classic roast beef sandwich at participating Arby's restaurants on Tuesday.

Baskin Robbins

Baskin Robbins' flavor of the month in honor of Veterans Day is First Class Camouflage Ice Cream: chocolate, salty caramel and cake flavored ice creams. The ice cream chain will donate 10 cents from ice cream scoops sold at all U.S. locations to the United Service Organizations (USO).

California Pizza Kitchen

Veterans and active military are invited to enjoy a free entre at any California Pizza Kitchen on Tuesday. You can choose any item from a special Veterans Day menu that includes several pizzas, salads, and pastas.

Carrabba's

Veterans and active military members can stop by any Carrabba's and get a free appetizer on Tuesday. Just bring proof of service.

Champps Americana

Veterans and active duty service members can stop by Champps Americana restaurant on Tuesday and get a free cheeseburger.

Chili's

Visit any Chili's location and show proof of military ID and they'll allow each veteran or active duty military member to get a free entree.

Chuck E. Cheese

If you are a veteran or former service member with little ones, take them to Chuck E. Cheese and you will 20 free tokens. This deal is good until Saturday, Nov. 15.

Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

On Tuesday, veterans get a free Double Chocolate Fudge Coca-Cola Cake dessert, or if you're not a vet, if you buy the dessert or other retail items, 10 percent of all proceeds will be donated to the USO.

Crazy Alan's Swamp Shack

Anyone who has served or is still in service can stop by the Kemah restaurant for a free appetizer or dessert Tuesday.

Denny's

To honor and thank our nation's heroes this Veterans Day, Denny's invites active, inactive and retired military personnel to stop by participating locations for a free Build Your Own Grand Slam breakfast on Tuesday from 5 a.m. to noon. The restaurant asks that you bring a valid military ID.

DoubleTree by Hilton Cookies

All-day on Tuesday, all veterans can get a free chocolate chip cookie in Dallas, Houston and San Antonio from DoubleTree by Hilton, with or without a reservation.

Einstein Bros. Bagels

Einsteins is serving up free coffee all day on Tuesday for active or former military members. Just show proof of service.

Golden Corral

Golden Corral holds their Military Appreciation Dinner on Monday, Nov. 17. All veterans and active duty military receive a free buffet and beverage from 5 to 9 p.m.

Great Clips

Great Clips is offering veterans a free hair cut from Nov. 11 through Dec. 31. All other customers can come in on Nov. 11 and, with the purchase of a service, receive a free haircut card to give to a veteran. The free haircut cards are redeemable by veterans at any U.S. Great Clips from Nov. 11-Dec. 31, 2014 with proof of service. The promotion applies to veterans only. Veterans who visit Great Clips in the U.S. on Nov. 11 receive either a free haircut that day or a free haircut card to redeem by Dec. 31. After Nov. 11, veterans must have a free haircut card to get the free haircut.

Hooters

Active-duty and retired military are invited to Hooters to dine for free on Tuesday: get a free entree by presenting a military ID or proof of service.

IHOP

IHOP is offering veterans and active military members free Red, White and Blue pancakes from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday.

Killen's BBQ

Killen's BBQ in Pearland is giving a free brisket and sausage plate for all veterans today.

Longhorn Steakhouse

Longhorn Steakhouse is giving away free Texas Tonions and non-alcoholic beverages to veterans who on Tuesday. You'll need to bring proof of service to get the freebies.

Menchie's Frozen Yogurt

Menchie's will be giving out free 6 oz. cups of frozen yogurt to veterans and active duty military all day on Veterans Day.

METRO

METRO will offer free rides to all veterans and active military personnel on Tuesday in honor of Veterans Day. Just let the vehicle's operator know that you are a veteran or active duty member of the armed services.

National Museum of Funeral History

The National Museum of Funeral History extends its appreciation to veterans for their service by providing all veterans and active military with free admission to the museum the week of November 10 - 16.

Olive Garden

Olive Garden is allowing all active duty military and veterans choose one free entre from their Veterans Day menu. Each entre will also come with breadsticks and unlimited soup or salad.

Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt

Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt is treating all military members and to a free cup of froyo on Tuesday.

Outback Steakhouse

Outback Steakhouse is saying thank you to military mates with a free Bloomin Onion and a beverage on Tuesday. They are also giving 15 percent off the total bill from Wednesday until the end of the year. Any time you visit an Outback, just show proof of military service to receive the discount.

Red Lobster

Red Lobster is giving all military members a free appetizer anytime from Monday, Nov. 10 through Thursday, Nov. 13. There are several different appetizers to choose from.

Red Robin

Veterans and active duty military members can stop into Red Robin on Tuesday to get a free Red's Tavern Double burger and Bottomless Steak Fries. Not all locations are participating, so call your location ahead of time and make sure they are.

Sleep Number

Through Nov. 16, Sleep Number is offering current and past military personnel $700 off on a Sleep Number m7 bed plus 24-month financing and free standard shipping, plus other Sleep Number military offers.

Slim Jim

Slim Jim launched a "Salute the Troops" campaign, allowing friends, family and supporters to personalize Slim Jim wrappers with messages to troops. Slim Jim will donate one million sticks. To date, more than 60,000 of these sticks will be delivered with personal messages.

Starbucks

Any veteran, active duty military, and their spouses can stop by Starbucks and pick up a free tall brewed beverage all day.

Texas Roadhouse

Texas Roadhouse will be giving away free lunch on Tuesday to military members - either active or former. There are several entrees to choose from, but you must show proof of military service.

Twin Peaks

Twin Peaks will give a free 2015 Twin Peaks calendar, full of $160 worth of offers, to the first 100 servicemen and women to visit each Twin Peaks location.

YMCA

The YMCA of Greater Houston encourages all U.S. veterans to visit the Y and work out for free on Tuesday, November 11, in honor of Veterans Day. Each of the association's 37 centers across the greater Houston area will grant access to veterans and their families as a "thank you" for their service to our country. Just show a valid military ID at the welcome center to get in free.
