Crew members helped to deliver the baby about halfway into their flight from Guinea to Burkina Faso.

Crew members of a Turkish Airlines flight were in for quite a surprise when an unexpected passenger arrived on board.

The plane's crew helped to deliver a baby girl over the weekend.

The new bundle of joy arrived nearly halfway into their flight from Guinea to neighboring country Burkina Faso.

The mother was 28 weeks into her pregnancy when the crew noticed she was in labor. Once the plane landed, the mother and baby were taken to the hospital.

Both are said to be in good health.
