Shawntell McWilliams, Woman of Distinction

Realizing her passion and unwavering desire to bring value and meaning to the lives of others led to her current role in nonprofit leadership as Vice President of Sisters Network, a national breast cancer organization. She has earned degrees in Chemistry, Nonprofit Management, and Higher Education Administration.[br /]She has chaired The National Kidney Foundation Luncheon, Pink Angel Luncheon and Sickle Cell Gala. Currently, Shawntell is chairing the Greater Houston Women's Chamber of Commerce Luncheon, The Links Tea, and The Childcare Council of Greater Houston Luncheon. Shawntell is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Greater Houston Women's Chamber of Commerce, Junior League of Houston, The Links and Women's Auxiliary of The Salvation Army, and also serves on the board of Young Women's College Preparatory Academy and National Breast Cancer Coalition.
