Man launches search for owner of missing Marines ring

SUGAR LAND, TX (KTRK) -- A man in Sugar Land is on a mission to find the owner of a lost military ring.

Bruce Hardin found the ring early Friday morning.

"I saw something shining in the street, so I picked it up," said Hardin.

The silver Marine Corp ring has no markings or engravings - which presents a challenge for Hardin.

"Somebody fought for our country and I feel like they should get it back," said Hardin. "It's just the right thing to do."
