AUSTIN, Texas (KTRK) -- After being ravaged by vandals, an iconic mural in Austin has been restored to its former glory.

Last weekend, vandals painted over 'I love you so much' mural near Jo's Coffee Shop on South Congress Avenue, according to local media reports.

At some point early Saturday morning, "F*** Austin" had been painted over the sign in black spray paint.

"Fear not: love will always prevail! We will be back with the I Love You So Much wall ASAP," the coffee shop pledged on Facebook after the vandalism came to light.

Over the past week, the wall was re-painted, and a Facebook Live video showed the inspiring phrase's return to the restaurant's wall.

Love wins!
