HS students make blankets for the homeless
Students are working to help Houston's homeless by making blankets this holiday season.

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Some local High School students are working hard to help Houston's homeless stay warm this holiday season.

Students at Eastwood Academy are hand-making blankets to pass out to the less fortunate.

They've been busy cutting and sewing the blankets after school and on weekends.

It's the second year Eastwood Academy has done a community project.
