Three-year-old Pe'Tehn Raighn-Kem, daughter of Lashaun and Andrea Jackson, performs "Hey Black Child" by Countee Cullen.

CHICAGO -- Peh'Tehn Raighn-Kem, 3, is big inspiration in a tiny package as she performs the poem "Hey Black Child" by Countee Cullen on Windy City Live.

Peh'Tehn's parents, Lashaun and Andrea Jackson, are both educators who live in Bronzeville. Peh'Tehn can already write, and has been reading since she was 18 months old.

A video of Peh'Tehn performing "Hey Black Child" at her church has spread rapidly on Facebook, and Wednesday morning she appeared on Windy City Live with her parents to perform the poem again. To watch her full appearance, click here.
