Girl leaves note for Santa at Walmart, woman shares it on Facebook in viral post

A little girl's note to Santa, left on a toy she wanted in Walmart, has gone viral after an image of it was shared on Facebook by a shopper.

Leah Agers found the note left on a toy at a Walmart in Ardmore, Oklahoma.

"Dear Santa, I want this please. Love, Alyssa Wood," the note read.

Agers wrote on Facebook that she found the note at the Walmart store and wanted to locate the parents of the girl.

After being shared over 500 times, Agers' photo reached April Wood, who is the mother of 10-year-old Alyssa, who penned the letter.

"I just really wanted to have the toy," Alyssa told KTEN. "I don't know if he will find it, but I really hope he does."
