Families in need gifted with houses full of furniture

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- For the 30th year in a row, 30 Houston families received donations from Gallery Furniture today.

They were chosen out of 5,000 applicants in need.

Many families served today were sleeping on air mattresses or on the floor.

"I smile because I know patience is a virtue and I knew God was going to come through for me, someway, somehow," said Jackie Pomar. "I didn't know how but I knew He would."
