HOLLYWOOD, CA -- Having a baby can be a beautiful time of life.

Chrissy Teigen is talking about her struggle with the condition.

The former Sports Illustrated swimsuit cover model and her husband, singer John Legend, welcomed a baby girl last April.

But in an essay for Glamour magazine, Teigen says she has been "unhappy" much of the past year and was diagnosed with postpartum depression in December.
