Valentine's Day apps make date-night planning simple
You may not be able to buy love, but your smartphone might help you download your way to it with an arsenal of apps for Valentine's Day.

LOS ANGELES, CA -- You may not be able to buy love, but your smartphone might help you download your way to it with an arsenal of apps for Valentine's Day.

Urbanspoon can help you secure the all-important dinner reservation. Free to download, the app lets users sort through restaurants by popularity, distance or cuisine.

Whether it's daisies or diamonds, getting the right gift for your loved one can be one of the more challenging aspects of any holiday, especially when crunched for time. The new app "BloomThat" features on-demand flower delivery within 90 minutes or less. Prices range from $35 to $75 and the app's website boasts its ease of use, noting that "a swipe and three taps is all it takes to have fresh flowers."

Not everyone can or wants to order a limo for the big day. If your transportation is do-it-yourself this year, then you can still add a little style when pulling in to your destination. "Luxe Valet" is an on-demand valet service for your iPhone that lets you request a driver to meet you at any location (within their service area). They'll even wash your car and fill up your gas tank for an additional cost. Representatives for the service say the valets are prescreened and vetted.

Finally, if you have everything covered but just can't find a date to go with it all, there's "Invisible Girlfriend" and "Invisible Boyfriend," a service that simulates relationships. A paid service, customers will receive texts, voicemails, and even phone calls from a faux significant other. According to the website, the developers are working on moving beyond just virtual communication and plan to offer gifts, personalized notes and flower deliveries as part of the service.

Both Luxe Valet and BloomThat have offered exclusive promo codes through ABC7 for first-time customers. Check them out below and get a little "discount love" this Valentine's Day.
