Used luxury goods for less
We found a pawn shop near the Galleria that sells luxury goods without the big price tags.

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Pawn shops are a great place to get second hand goods for pennies on the dollar, but one located just a mile from the Galleria Mall has luxury finds without the big price tags.

From the outside, you might think that there's lawn mowers and golf clubs inside the Wright Pawn & Jewelry, but once you go in, you'll find it's a treasure of goods.

The shop sells high-end items from Louis Vuitton and Chanel handbags, to expensive watches like Rolex and Cartier.

"We are not your normal pawn shop. We deal with things that women love, and we even have a few fantastic things for men," Pamela Wright said.

There are collectibles you can pass on from generation to generation, like crystal china and silverware.

"We've got a Tiffany sterling tea pot. Isn't it beautiful," Wright said.

The shop has exquisite fur coats for a quarter of the retail price. A 24-karat yellow sapphire retails for $75,000, but at the pawn shop, it costs $32,000. We know that's still expensive, but if you're looking for diamonds stud earrings or smaller pieces, Wright said the prices will beat retail every time.

"We're selling it secondary market," Wright said.

They have price points for those with a big budget and for others who need to stretch their dollar.

A set of candle sticks cost $39, a pair of crystal wine glasses sell for $65, an art wine rack for $59 and World War I and II collectibles for starting at just $20.
