Experts say there are several tech gifts worth investing in this holiday season.

Houston Best Buy stores expect to get a new shipment of NES Classic this morning.

Smartphone-powered thermostat

The first gadget is from Nest, and allows you to adjust your thermostat with your smartphone. The cost for one is just over $200.

The cool thing about this gadget is that it learns your behaviors, including when you come and go. It adjusts itself accordingly, saving you hundreds of dollars in the first month you use it.

Nest also just released a series of smartphone-controlled indoor and outdoor cameras.

Security cameras from Amcrest

A Houston-based company has introduced their own HD indoor and outdoor cameras that experts say are a great value, at just under $100.

You can check in on your home via an app on your smartphone, catching thieves in the act should they ever enter your place or try to take packages from your front door.

Tile keychain finder

Some other tech gadgets worth investing in this holiday season include a keychain finder cold Tile.

It's a small white Bluetooth and GPS tracking device that can hook onto your key ring. With the button on your smart phone, you can find Tile. The device also rings an alarm. Tile retails for just under $25.

Clean Router

The last tech gadget our experts said is worth investing in, the Clean Router.

This device helps to keep kids from viewing or stumbling upon porn photos or videos, allows parents to block content they don't want their kids to access, and helps parents manage internet usage for their kids.
