HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- If your child has ever racked up a bill on your Amazon account without your permission, a refund might be on the way.
The Federal Trade Commission and Amazon have agreed to end an appeals case over the issue, agreeing that Amazon will refund around $70 million of "unauthorized in-app purchases" made by kids.
Purchases made between November 2011 and May 2016 are included in the agreement.
According to the FTC, details on the Amazon-operated refund program will be announced shortly.
