RIO VERDE, AZ (KTRK) -- Two adult male rattlesnakes packed with powerful venom duked it out in full view of an Arizona homeowner recently.
The late-night fight went on for three hours, as the two males battled for territorial dominance and the chance to mate with a nearby female, reports KNXV-TV.

Snake experts say cooler fall weather pushes snakes into winter prep mode, where they spend their time eating, mating and fighting for lady snakes.
Experts were able to safely relocate all of the snakes into the desert.
