Puppy drives car into pond

CANTON, MA (KTRK) -- A man in Massachusetts is blaming his dog for his car floating in a pond.

He told police his 5-month-old German Shepherd pup got her leash tangled in the gear shifter. When she struggled to get it free she fell onto the accelerator, driving the car into the water.

The owner was in the car at the time but both he and his dog made it out OK.
