Pandas
KTRK-KTRK

My blog is usually all about companion animals. But most of us with pets are animal lovers in general. I was excited when I heard about this upcoming lecture and I thought some of you might be interested, too.

National Geographic photographer Joel Sartore is visiting Houston next month.

His program will take you behind the scenes around Asia. You will learn more about animals like pandas, tigers, elephants and others that are in danger of extinction.

In collaboration with the Houston Zoo and Asia Society Texas, this is Joel Santore's fifth visit to Houston to share videos and photos of the animals he documents.

The event is Sunday, February, 8th at 2pm at Asia Society Houston in the Museum District. Tickets are $15 for members of either the Houston Zoo or Asia Society. Tickets are $20 for non-members.

The first 100 guests who arrive to the program will receive a FREE autographed print of the baby pandas featured above. Limit one photo per family, please.
