COLUMBIA GORGE, OR (KTRK) -- A Christmas Day hike in Oregon turned into a major scare for a yellow lab named Sandy and her owner.
The dog fell 150 feet down a cliff in Columbia Gorge and had to be rescued by an eight-person team.
The dog was trapped on a narrow ledge about 70 feet above Eagle Creek.
Oregon Humane Society's animal rescue team was called out.
They had to fit a harness on Sandy in order to lift her 150 feet to safety. She only suffered minor injuries.
