SUFFOLK COUNTY, NY (KTRK) -- Police hope to find the person who duct taped a dog's muzzle shut in an incredible heinous animal cruelty case.
A $2,000 reward is being offered in Long Island for whoever abandoned the dog without the ability to eat or drink.

Rob Farha says he was outraged when he saw the young Shepherd mix with his muzzle closed by the duct tape.
"I can't see what this dog could have done so bag that someone thinks that they should tape it's mouth shut," Farha says.
Farha spotted the dog across the street from his business and went to help.
"First thing I did was take pictures," Farha says. "Then, I took the tape off of the dog's mouth. I had him inside. He hadn't made a noise."
Farha called police. The Suffolk County SPCA is now trying to assist in finding who did this.
"Somebody will come forward," says Capt. Paul Llobell of the Suffolk County SPCA. "We do have the tape. We'll send it off to the police crime lab and have it checked for fingerprints and stuff like that."
"There's a lot of neighbors. People come forward. If they dog is a barking dog, I'm sure somebody knows about it."
