Help Houston seniors feed their pets

If you haven't heard about aniMeals on Wheels, it is a wonderful program that helps many seniors in our community.

AniMeals on Wheels helps homebound seniors currently participating in Interfaith Ministries for Greater Houston's Meals on Wheels program feed their cats and dogs. The program was started six years ago, so that seniors wouldn't have to share their own limited food with their animal best friends.

The program relies on donations of money and pet food from people in the community.

You can help by attending this year's Best Friends Brunch on Valentine's Day. Last year's event raised $65,000 for the aniMeals on Wheels program.

The aniMeals on Wheels Best Friends Brunch is Saturday, February 14th at Omni Rivercenter.
