Alligator chases teen campers out of Texarkana pond

Texarkana, TX (KTRK) -- A group of kids in Texarkana, TX, enjoying a night of camping outside a house were interrupted by a very large guest.

The kids were staying in a tent when they heard a gator walking around the outside of their tent. The teens didn't think it was very big.

Then, the next morning, they were swimming in a pond when they were chased out by the eight feet long, 300-pound gator.

A wildlife expert says if the gator was following them, it probably saw them as prey.
