Doggy daycare in the Heights giving pets the 5-star experience
HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Family owned and operated, 20th Street Grooming and Doggy Daycare in the Heights has tripled the fun, with a recent expansion to two additional 1920s style bungalows for all of their four-legged furry friends.
Laura Englishbey and her husband Michael first opened the doors to their little red bungalow in May 2008.
"As the Heights starting growing, so did we," Englishbey said.
The three bungalows are always bustling with canine activities: doggie daycare, sleepovers and grooming services, to name a few.
The secret to their success is the love and attention each pampered pup gets the minute they wag their tail through the front door.
"Most dogs come inside and feel right at home, because our space is typical to what most homes feel and look like in the neighborhood." Englishbey said. "They are like family to us and our passionate staff."
The pup "Picture of the Day" shared on their social media each day is also a favorite among customers and the community.
