YMCA instructor charged with online solicitation of a minor

TOMBALL, TX (KTRK) -- A 32-year-old YMCA instructor is behind bars, accused of trying to meet two underage juveniles for sex.

According to Tomball police, an online tip led investigators to Matthew Thibodeaux. The tip advised that Thibodeaux was en-route to meet the two underage juveniles.

As officers approached him at the park, he took off on foot. After a short pursuit, he was taken into custody and transported to jail.

Thibodeaux was employed at two YMCA locations in The Woodlands, police said.

He is charged with online solicitation of a minor, which is a second-degree felony.
