Woman speaks out after video of vandals damaging park

ALVIN, TX (KTRK) -- Alvin police are searching for vandals responsible for damaging a park in a neighborhood after they were caught on video.

The vandals had no idea that they were being recorded the entire time.

Stacy Todd says she were getting ready to take her kids to the park when she caught the vandals in action.

She shot the video on her cellphone which showed at least one passenger in the black Jeep. While recording, she says she was hoping the driver didn't flip over and hurt himself.

Her video also showed families looking on from the park.

Todd shared her video with the Alvin Police Department who then posted the video on their Facebook page.

"It's a pain for people to have to mow, to run around in the grass and play ball," she added.

She says she hopes those responsible are caught.

"Plain and simple, just learn from your screw up, everybody messes up, Todd said. "Just don't do it again."
