Woman shot during taco truck robbery

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A woman is recovering after she was grazed by a bullet during a robbery at a taco truck in west Houston.

It happened around 10pm Sunday night in the 3800 block of Hillcroft near Windswept.

Authorities say the woman and her husband were working at the truck when they were approached by a group of men who demanded cash. At some point, one of the suspects fired one shot which grazed the victim on the top of her head.

She was taken to the hospital and is expected to be okay.

Police are still questioning the couple for more information about the suspects.
