Woman found shot multiple times inside car in N. Harris Co.

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A woman was found dead inside a vehicle in north Harris County Tuesday. She had been shot multiple times.

It happened near Cross Draw and March Creek. A neighbor heard gunfire at a little after 12:30pm and called the sheriff's office. When deputies arrived, they found the woman dead inside the car, which had its hazard lights on.

The vehicle was taken to a dry location to preserve any evidence.

No weapon was recovered.

At this point, investigators don't know much about the woman and have not released her identity.
