Woman found dead in SE Houston; police looking for her ex

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A woman is dead and now police are working to find her ex-boyfriend.

Police identified the victim as Amanda Baird. They say the 33-year-old woman was beaten inside a home on Hertford near Foxton in southeast Houston. EMS rushed Baird to Ben Taub Hospital, where she later died.

Witnesses told police Baird's ex-boyfriend was at the home earlier and they got into an argument. When officers arrived, he was nowhere to be found.
