Woman found dead in burning home in NE Harris County

HUFFMAN, TX (KTRK) -- A woman was found dead inside a burning home Saturday morning in northeast Harris County.

The Huffman Volunteer Fire Department responded to a house fire in the 900 block of Little Doe Drive shortly before 10am. When they arrived, the home was fully engulfed in flames. Inside, they say, was a deceased woman.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. The victim hasn't been positively identified.
