WILLIS, TX -- A 34-year-old Willis man has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for setting ablaze his parents' home and assaulting his mother after he was forced to move from the residence.

Casey Albinus pleaded guilty to arson and injury to elderly for the incidents that occurred over a six-day period in September, when he threw items at his mother during an altercation at their Misty Glen home in Willis before starting a grease fire on the kitchen stove the following week.

Investigators believe Albinus started the fire because of his frustration from being evicted. Albinus had previously made threats that he would burn the house down and was the only one home when the fire started Sept. 14.
