VIDEO: Woman caught on camera snatching wreath, welcome sign

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A woman was caught on surveillance camera swiping a wreath and a welcome sign off the front porch of a home in northeast Harris County.

The Eagle Springs homeowner tells Eyewitness News it happened on Tuesday around 4:30am. The items are worth about $100. The homeowner says filed a police report in the theft and didn't know the woman.

Harris County Constable Precinct 4 Captain Hecker tells us the wreath and sign were recovered. We're working to get more information on the suspect in this case.
