NATICK, MA (KTRK) -- Police say surveillance cameras were rolling during a brazen robbery at an Apple Store.
The company says it lost more than $13,000 worth of merchandise after seven people walked in and snatched 19 iPhones from their displays.
Investigators say the robbery happened Wednesday. Security tape shows the seven thieves walking into the Apple Store in Natick, Massachusetts, each wearing hoodies or hats to shield their identity.
Suddenly, they become cutting security cords, swiping the iPhones before running out of the store.
Security guards were unable to catch up with the robbers, who managed to escape somewhere near the east side of the mall.
Police believe this robbery may be connected with a similar event in Hingham a few weeks ago.
